Hi All,

Most Test Takers would take a standard algebraic approach to this prompt, which is fine. A bit of multiplication and division and you'll have the solution. There is a ratio 'pattern' though, that you can use to avoid some of the math.

We're told that the two rectangles have the SAME area. One rectangle is 5 by 24 and the other is 6 by X. Since the areas are the same, and 24 is "4 times" 6, the only way for the areas to be equal is if X is '4 times' 5.

(4)(5) = 20
