\(\frac{(3*85 + x)}{4}= 85+2 => 3*85 + x = (85+2) 4 => x = 4*85 +4*2 - 3*85 => x=85+8 = 93\)

Using the concept of weighted average:
3cases(85)----------avg(87)----------------1cases(x)
3/1 = (x - 87)/(87-85)
3(87-85) = x- 87
6 + 87 = x
x = 93
