This question can be solved algebraically or by TESTing VALUES.
We're told that José reads at a constant rate of 2 pages every 5 MINUTES. We're asked how many SECONDS it takes him to read N pages.
Since 5 minutes = 5(60) = 300 seconds, we know that he can read 2 pages every 300 seconds.
IF...
N = 2, then we're looking for an answer that equals 300.... The answer choices are so 'spread out' that you really don't need to do much work at all to find the correct answer...
