The sum of the mean, the median, and the range of the set {1, 2, 6} equals which one of the following values?

A. 2
B. 4
C. 6
D. 8
E. 10

The mean is 9/3 = 3, the median is 2, and the range is 6 - 1 = 5. Thus, the sum is 10.

Mean= \(\frac{1+2+6}{3}\)= \(\frac{9}{3}\)= 3

Median= Middle Term= 2

Range= 6-1=5

Sum= 3+2+5= 10

Answer: E.
