Hi,

Think logically !!!

James walked 3 miles in 30 minutes today. If he doubles his pace tomorrow he would walk 6miles in 30 min.

However, the question is about 15 min so it is 3 miles

thus for every miles covered in 30 minutes ,he will cover the same distance in 15minutes
=3miles

So, speed is 0.1 miles/minute

distance = speed x time
3 = 30 x x
x = 3/30 or 1/10

If speed double then speed is 1/5

15 x 1/5 = 3

Answer is B

Speed doubles and Time halves

D = Speed * Time
New D = 2*Speed * Time/2 = Speed*Time = D

So new distance will still be 3 miles.

his current speed is 3/30 or 1/10
tomorrow his speed will be doubled to 2*1/10 or 1/5
so we will cover 3 miles
Rate * Time = Distance
1/5 * 15 = 3 miles ans
Therefore, B is the right choice

an Easy question
Today
30 min = 3 miles
15 min = 3/2 miles.
Tomorrow (with double speed)
15 min = 3/2*2 = 3 miles
