(A) \(x + 2y\) ----- \(Even + Even = Even\)
(B) \(2(x + y)\) ------- \(Even*any number = Even\)
(C) \(2x + y\) ------ \(Even + Odd = Odd\). Correct Answer
(D) \(\frac{x}{y}\) ----- May or may not be an even integer. For eg. \(6/3 = 2 = Even\) but \(4/3\) is not an integer
(E) \(xy\) ------\(Even*Odd = Even\)
