The best way of answering such question lies is PRIME FACTORIZATION
\(24336 = 4*6084 = 4^2 * 1521 = 4^2*9*169 = 2^4*3^2*13^2\)
\(\sqrt{24336} = 2^2*3*13 = 156\)
Answer: option D
ALTERNATE
Out of all available options, the square of only 156 may have Unit digit 6 which the number 24336 has therefore
Answer: option D
