If x < y, 2x = A, and 2y = B, then

A. A = B

B. A < B

C. A > B

D. A < x

E. B < y
IMO B i will take every case that is possible :-
X<Y
1 X=1, Y=2
2 X=0.2, Y=0.5
3. X=-3, Y=-1
4.X=0, Y=4
NOW according to every case we will find A AND B
A=2x and B= 2y
1.A=2, B=4
2.A=0.4, B=1
3. A=-6, B=-2
4.X=0, B=8
In every case we can see A<B so answer is B

If X<Y
then multiplying both of the sides of the eqn we get,
2X < 2Y

As 2x = A and 2Y = B, so

A<B

So the answer is B.
