There are 16 possible outcomes . The outcomes can be got by multiplying each number in one spanner with the other.
10*10 =100, 10*20 = 200, 10*30 = 300, 10*40 = 400
20*10 =200, 20*20 = 400, 20*30 = 600, 20*40 = 800
30*10 =300, 30*20 = 600, 30*30 = 900, 30*40 = 1200
40*10 =400, 40*20 = 800, 40*30 = 1200, 40*40 = 1600
Out of the options, 400 = options A is the most likely to occur.
Hence, 400 = options A is the answer.
