Since RSTU is a rectangle, each of the angle, R,S,T,U will be 90 degrees.
Now, in triangle comprisiing angles a,S and b, sum of all angles in triangle is equal to 180 degree.
This means a+b+S=180
But S=90 degree (vertex of rectangle)
This implies a+b+90=180.Hence a+b=90 degrees.
Same is for all the other three triangles as appearing in figure. Which means c+d=90, e+f=90.
Hence,a+b+c+d+e+f= 90+90+90=270 degress.

Answer D

All angles of rectangle are equal to 90 degree i.e < r = < s = < t =<u = 90 degree. (<=angle)

Now consider triangle RSX,

We have <a + <s + <b = 180 degree

=> <a +<b = 90 (since <s = 90 degree)...................(1)

Same for triangle XYT,
<c + <d + < t =180 degree

=> <c + <d = 90 (since <t = 90 degree)...................(2)

And finally for triangle YRU

<e + <f + < u =180 degree

=> <e + < f =90 (since <u = 90 degree)....................(3)

Now putting the values from (1), (2) and (3), we get (<a+<b) +(<c+<d) + (<e+<f) = 90+90+90 = 270

IMO answer is option D.

P.S: Option E is not possible.
