Given:
- • Final grade is calculated from the mean of the test scores
• They are allowed to drop the lowest score before calculating the final grade
• Joseph received scores of {67, 82, 73, 91, 77, 75} on his tests
To find:
- • The final grade rounded to the nearest integer
Approach and Working:
- • The least score among the given set of scores = 67
• The sum of the remaining scores = 82 + 73 + 91 + 77 + 75 = 398
• Thus, mean = \(\frac{398}{5} = 79.6 ≃ 80\)
