1/3rd of 20 percent of 60=4

Atq, 20% of 60 is 1/3rd more than what no means
12+4=no
No=16

20% off 60. Does this mean 80% of 60? I might be over analyzing the 'off'.

80*60/100 = x*4/3 ( one third more than)

x = 48*3/4 = 36. (D)

Waiting for OA and expert's thoughts.

Im a bit confused here, could you please explain to me why isn't like the following:

\(\frac{20}{100}* 60 = x + \frac{1}{3}\)

"one-third more than what number"

I think that "off" in this case means "-". 20% off 60 = 48. And the answer is 36 as 48 is 1/3 more than 36.
