In a certain apartment building, exactly \(\frac{1}{3}\) of the apartments have two bedrooms and exactly \(\frac{1}{7}\) of the two-bedroom apartments are front apartments. Which of the following could be the total number of apartments in the building?

(A) 42
(B) 50
(C) 51
(D) 56
(E) 57

1/3 of total Apts are 2 bedroom and 1/7 of 2 bedroom is front facing. So w.r.t total 1/3*1/7 are front facing = 1/21. Since the number of apts has to be an integer only option A satisfies it IMO A

so the answer has to be a factor of both 7 &3 or say 21 ;
IMO A: 42
