I thanks a lot to

Total revenue in 2012 = $2.4 million.
50% greater of the total revenue in 2012 = 50% of $2.4 million = $1.2 million.
Now, this $1.2 million has to be distributed equally to 6 yearly values (2011-2016, 6 years).
So, the value distributed to each year (from 2011-2016) is $1.2 million / 6 = $200,000.
Hence, the average revenue from 2011-2016 would have been approximately greater by
$200,000.Option B. $200,000.

Ravish.
P.S. - I'm extremely thankful to GMATClub for this awesome platform and to other experts, particularly
VeritasKarishma (Karishma Ma'am) for expanding my horizon and thinking on how to approach the Quant problems alternatively, intuitively and solve within 2 minutes. Earlier, I thought about these as short-cuts/tricks and despised them by saying that these methods are not useful or apply only to certain specific scenarios/cases. Now, I love these alternate ways and look forward to intuitive approach to solve any question.
