What is the combined area, in square inches, of the front and back of a rectangular index card measuring 5 1/2 inches by 7 inches ?

A 35
B 38.5
C 77
D 140
E 154

For all the members above seeking an answer, the OA is wrong.

The area of each side = \(5.5*7\)
Area of both sides = \(2*5.5*7=11*7=77\)

2 faces * (5.5) * (7)

Multiply by *(10/10) = *1

2 * (10/10) (5.5) (7)

(2/10) * (55) (7)

(1/5) * (55) (7)

(11) (7) = 77

(C) 77
