let us say the the fraction is a
\(\frac{7a}{6}-\frac{6a}{7 }= \frac{1}{7 }\\
\)
a=\(\frac{6}{13 }\)
Option (B) is correct IMO

Bunuel
A person was to multiply a fraction by 6/7. Instead, he divided and got an answer which exceeds the correct answer by 1/7. The correct answer is:

(A) 36/91
(B) 6/13
(C) 7/13
(D) 8/13
(E) 9/13

Hi sumitkrocks:
The fraction is 6/13 but the correct answer should be 6/13*6/7 = 36/91. Let me know, if I'm missing something :)
