45 lines = 5 minutes
180 lines = X minutes
Using cross multiplication,
X = 5*180/45
X = 20
Answer is B

• We need to find her rate of writing per minute and from there we can find the time taken to write 180 lines.

Alternate Method (Using Unitary Method)
Shelly can write 45 lines in 5 mins.
Shelly can write 1 line in (\(\frac{5}{45}\)) mins
Shelly can write 180 lines in (\(\frac{5}{45}\)) *180 = 20 mins
Thus, the correct answer is Option B.
