Average Speed = Total Distance / Total Time
Average Speed = 4D / [(2D/60)+(D/30)+(D/10)] = 4D*60 / 10D = 24

Based on the fraction distance mentioned, let’s assume the total distance to be 4D.
Mode 1 : car - distance 2d - speed 60 kmph
Mode 2: bus - after stopping at half the total distance and travels for half of the remaining distance (2d)= d and speed = 30 kmph.
Mode 3 : walk - distance d - speed 10 kmph.
Average speed = Total distance / total time
= 4d / [ (2d/60) + (d/30)+ (d/10) ]
= 24 kmph option D

Avg Speed = 120/(1+1+3) = 24
Dolly travelled 120/2 = 60km at 60kmph. So T = 1
Dolly travelled 60/2 = 30km at 30kmph. So T = 1
