This is actually an easy question.
Maybe 600-645 level to be honest
There are 12C4 ways of choosing 4 books
Now, the question says that we need to choose books that are not next to each other. We can negate that and calculate the number of ways we can choose books that are next to each other
1->4, 2->5, 3->6 .............. 9->12 -> 9 ways
12C4 = 495
Answer is 495-9 = 486
