Total sum of 7 players = 7*85 = 595
Total of 9 players = 595+110+60=765

New average = 765/9 = 85
Option C is correct

Let's see the avg weight being added = (110+60)/2 = 85

Avg remains the same, i.e. 85

There are 7 players in a bowling team with an average weight of 85 Kg. If two new players join the team, one weighs 110 Kg and the second weighs 60 Kg, what will be the new average weight?
Let, Sum of weight of 7 players= x
x/7=85
x=85*7=595 kg

x+110+60/9
(595+110+60)/9=85 kg

The average of 7 persons is 85 kg.

Two new persons enter the lot, one is 110 kg and the other is 60 kg.

110 - 85 = +25 kg . So, this person brings 25 kg MORE than average to the team.

60 - 85 = -25 kg. So, the arrival of the person weighing 60 kg, pulls the average weight down by 25 kg.

Net change in average = +25 -25 = 0

So, No change in new average .

Option C
