Let's assume Jack asks x questions
July initially had 50 chocolates
As Liliy answered x/3 questions correctly, she received 4x/3 chocolates
And she answered 2x/3 questions incorrectly, so she gave 6x/3=2x chocolates.
Finally, we can write
50+4x/3-2x=36. Solving this, we get x=21

Both of them start with 50 each. Now she has 36, meaning she gave away 14 chocolates. Why would she give away 14 chocolates? If she gave wrong answers.
She gave 1/3rd correct, so she gave 2/3rd wrong.
2/3x = 14.
x = 21.
