I believe this question is ambiguous. It refers to line K, but never it says it is a straight line or a curve line or anything like that. If K is indeed a straight line the answer would be C, but since we don't have that information my answer was E.

Is this reasoning correct?

For anyone who tried this question and got it wrong, I suggest drawing the link on the graph first. I missed this question at first because I didn't draw the line after combining statements 1 and 2.
