At the Butterfly Scout Cookie Chow Down, each girl was given equal time to decorate as many cookies as possible. If the winner took an average of 20 seconds to decorate each cookie, how many cookies did the second-place finisher decorate?

(2) The winner decorated 15 more cookies than the second-place finisher. first = x cookies, and second = x-15 cookies. Not sufficient.
(1)+(2) x/2 = x - 15. We can solve for x. Sufficient.
Answer: C.

From question: Cookies (c) winner: c = Rate (r) * t ==> 1c = 1/20 c/s * t. (She takes 20 seconds per cookie).
(1) Rate of second place: 1/40. c = 1/40 * t. No Info about time or cookies. IS.
(2) c(2nd Place)+15 = 1/20 * t. No info about time or cookies. IS.
Together: From (2) : c+15 = 1/20c/s * t = (c+15)*20 = t. From (1) c = 1/40 * t. Now we can plug in t from (2) in (1) and calculate. Suff. Thus C.
