Statement 2: Insufficient. We can just find that there are 100 number of girls.
Combining 1 and 2,
We still do not know whether all 45% student who got an average of 80 are girls or 40% or 20% or 0%.
Hence, Answer will be E.

Hence 90 children have an average score of 80.
We do not have any information about the score of the girls.

Hence, 100 children are girls.
Still no information about the scores.
