Since x and y are reciprocals, x=1/y or y=1/x
St I
x = 0.2
x+y = x + 1/x = 0.2 +(1/0.2) = 5.20 ---------Sufficient
St II
y = 5
x+y = 1/y + y = (1/5) + 5 = 0.2+5 = 5.20 -----------Sufficient
Hence Option D is correct
