Imo A
We can use exterior angle property of triangles to find out the value of angle E
A=E+C
D=E+B
Adding together we have 230=2E+C+B
But we know from triangle property that sum of three angles is 180 hence the value of angle is 50.

I will also go with A sum of internal angles of triangle is 180 and sum of two angles on a straight line is also 180

I vote for A.

From 1, we know a+d = 230,
here we can write a = e + c and d = b +e
so now equation turns to : e+c + b+e = 230
implies e+180 = 230 (since we know b+c+e =180)
so e = 230-180 = 50
Statment 2 is not useful to deduct e

Here is my as follows:
a+b+c+d equals to 360
so b+c equals to 360-230=130

e+b+c= 180
=> e = 180 - (b+c) = 50

So A is sufficient

And now with b=c, we can not deduce anything. So b=c is not insufficient.

My Answer is A

A tells us the angle of the bottom two.

B means it could be any {1,1,178}{2,2,176} etc

Answer is A.
1) Given a+d = 230.
b = 180-a ; c= 180-d; e= 180-(b+c).

therefore e = 180-{(180-a) + (180-d)} => 180-{360-(a+d)} => 180-{360-230} => 180-130 => 50. A is sufficient.

2 ) If b=c; then, e=180-(b+c) =>180-2b or 180-2C. Not sufficient.
