What do we need to find?
B-C=?
Statement 1: -
A-4 =2C
Substitute (i) in the equation
2B-4=2C
B-C = 2
SUFFICIENT
Statement 2: -
A=C+8
Substitute (i) back in the equation
2B=C+8
2B-C=8
We can't proceed ahead after this
INSUFFICIENT
Hence answer is A
