We have three items - carrots - C, Brussel sprouts - B, and celery sticks - S...And we have to find the ratio of C:S
(I) C=B...Nothing about S
(II) B=3S....Nothing about C.
Combined..
C=B=3S, so C:S = 3S:S=3:1
