Together: Must be positive so x = 3. Answer is C

In statement 1, zero is psoosible answer too. So not only positive values.

In statement 2, 3 or -3 will have same |x|=|3|=|-3|= 3

Answer is B

i.e. x = 0 or any +ve value

NOT SUFFICIENT

Statement 2: x^2 = 9

i.e. x = 3 or -3
