As per statement 1, line only passes thru first and third quadrant. It signifies line is passing thru origin. So the x and y intercept is 0. Hence the product of them is always zero. So sufficient 😀

as per statement 2, line with slope 2 can pas thru origin which have no x or y intercept. so product can be 0 or any -ve no. hence, insufficient.
