Question: \(\frac{x+y}{2} = ?\)
Statement 1: \(\frac{x}{2} +\frac{ y}{2} = 10 \)
i.e. \(\frac{x+y}{2} = 10\)
SUFFICIENT
Statement 2: x = 2y
i.e. \(\frac{x+y}{2} = \frac{3y}{2}\)
But since y is unknown hence
NOT SUFFICIENT
