This statement says that 9 employees signed up for both nutrition sessions and meditation sessions, and 2 of those also signed up for yoga classes. So exactly 2 employees signed up for all three. Sufficient.
(2) 27 employees signed up for yoga classes.
We know 41 employees signed up for at least one of the three activities, and we know the totals for yoga, nutrition, and meditation are 27, 18, and 14. But we still do not know how those groups overlap. Different overlap patterns can give different values for the number who signed up for all three. Not sufficient.

Solving via 3 set Venn Diagram:
Via statement 1 -> We get Yoga = 20 where all three sessions = 2 and only Meditation and Nutrition = 7.
Whereas with statement 2 which mentions Yoga = 27 leaves room for ambiguity to add up total to 41. Some information on common sessions is the gap here.
Therefore (A) is the answer.
