Hello,
I am struggling to improve Reading comprehension and trying to take my SC to the next level. I have basically exhausted the OG material & QPack #1 and have run out of OG questions. I am wondering if its a good idea to read the Science/Business section of WSJ & Economist to improve my RC & SC. When I was reading the WSJ I started noticing modifiers, SV agreement, pronouns and all the issues that students encounter in SC. I am guessing there might be minor differences between WSJ/Economist & Gmat... I was also reading science section and noticed similarity between RC passages.....
Would any experts recommend the diligent reading of these publications to improve reading comprehension and sentence correct? Is it safe to say that grammar rules that gmat uses are very similar to the WSJ & Economist?

It's ALWAYS a good idea to read these publications to stay on top of what's going on in the business and finance world, and improve your overall knowledge as a person.
In terms of studying specifically for the GMAT, what will help more is getting Strunk & White's "Elements of Style": https://amzn.to/2r87x27 considered THE best book for learning and perfecting English grammar.
