I am planning to take GMAT online on surface pro , which allows me to write on whiteboard using its touchscreen/ surface pen . Are we allowed to use it ?

Hi gpranjal30,
While I believe you can use a surface pro, you cannot actually use the touchscreen or surface pen during the exam. For more information regarding the online GMAT, you may find it helpful to read this article:

Hi gpranjal30,
No you cannot. It gives you unfair advantage compared to other candidates who may not have access to similar technology.
However, there is a positive update for candidates who are not comfortable with the online whiteboard. The GMAC has decided to permit usage of physical whiteboard for candidates who take the exam from 11th June 2020 onwards.
