How can I improve from 650 to 740 in 2 months?

Hi GMAT Experts,

I recently gave GMAT and scored 650(Q46,V34). I was a little shocked with my result as during the last week of my preparation, I gave three mocks - one from e-gmat and the other two were the official GMAT mocks and my scores were as follows:
Mock 1 (Official GMAT Mock Paper 1) - 680 (Q48, V35)
Mock 2 (Sigma X Mock Paper 5) - 670 (Q46, V35)
Mock 3 (Official GMAT Mock Paper 2) - 730 (Q49,V41)
I have already completed the course from eGMAT and also completed the quant & verbal questions from OG 2017. I am a little confused on how can I improve my score further. I am planning to give my next GMAT after 2 months and will be able to spend 2-3 hours daily for practise. Therefore, it would be really helpful if you could answer the following questions.
Should I purchase OG 2021 (Complete+Verbal) for practice?
Is OG 2021 + Verbal OG 2021 sufficient for practice? If not, what other sources can I use to improve my score in 2 months.
What are some other tips that I should keep in mind?

I think that I am also in the same boat as you .

Your recent mock scores , and your preparation described in your post give a notion that you have a potential to score 720 + .

While it is definitely possible to improve your score beyond 700 plus in 2 months , the key is to to stick with the plan in which we constantly work on your weakness .

I believe there is a potential big area of improvement in quant .

Maybe you can subscribe to GMAT club quant or TTP quant and explore more on two aspects .

1. How to solve below 650 level questions in less than 1.5 minutes .

2. Explore more on 700 + questions so that you can solve then at ease .

To improve verbal , I suggest you to focus on all official question and selective LSAT CR and RC arguments .

To improve quant score, you should practice GMAT Club tests that are really outstanding. You should also read explanation of the math tests which you will not able to correct. Thus you may increase quant score from 46 to 50. In verbal, try to correct sentence corrections at maximum level and then focus on critical reasoning.

I'm sorry to hear that Test Day didn't go as well as planned. When these types of score drops occur, the two likely "causes" involve either something that was unrealistic during practice or something that was surprising (or not accounted for) on Test Day. Before we discuss any of those potential issues though, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

1) How long have you studied? How many hours do you typically study each week?
2) Have you used any other study materials besides the ones that you listed?
3) On what dates did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?
4) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?

If you took your GMAT at a Test Center, then you might also choose to purchase the Enhanced Score Report. While the ESR doesn’t provide a lot of information, there are usually a few data points that we can use to define what went wrong on Test Day (and what you should work on to score higher). If you purchase the ESR, then I'll be happy to analyze it for you.

Regarding resources, in addition to seeking advice in this thread, take a look at the GMAT Club reviews for  the best quant  and  verbal courses , and also read through some  GMAT success stories  to see what materials have worked well for other test-takers.
