Background: I am preparing for gmat and i come across different question type while using magoosh/ egmat/ princeton review/ gmat prep/ Manhattan
Question: My question is what is the probability i see exact same question in my real gmat test if i practise each and every question in these portal.

These sources may use modified versions of official questions. In that case, you may see similar use of concepts on the actual test.

If you practice a large number of questions, you are more likely to come across many of the same types of concepts.

I took my online GMAT a week back, and I saw the same question STEM in Verbal for CR. But the answer choices were different. I was surprised to see that question though.

Hi Arydhingra,

It is highly unlikely that you will come across a question during your Official GMAT that is an exact "copy" of one that you saw during your studies. However, if you train properly, then most of what you will see on Test Day will remind you of work that you've already done and patterns that you have already faced. To that end, you have to be careful about confusing 'quantity' of study with 'quality' of study.

Before I can offer you any additional advice for your studies, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

Studies:
1) How long have you studied? How many hours do you typically study each week?
2) What study materials have you used so far?
3) On what dates did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?

Goals:
4) What is your overall goal score?
5) When are you planning to take the GMAT?
6) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich
