Hi Experts,
I took my first GMAT exam, the GMAT online, yesterday and got an unofficial score of 720 (Q50, V37) and 8 in IR. I could have done better on the verbal since I was scoring V42-43 in the official mocks but found the SC questions confusing because of a lot of idiom usage. I am an Indian and I aspire to pursue MBA from either the US top 20 (1st priority) or the ISB (2nd Priority). The US schools are too expensive without scholarships, so I want a decent scholarship as well.
Profile details-
- Male
- Undergrad (engineering) GPA 4
- Work ex: 24 months in a Tech Consulting firm.
- I work in the India office but the interactions are with US clients only (do not know if this would matter

)
- Mentored interns but no official corporate managerial experience.
- Received accolades and awards for my good performance in the company
Below are the questions that I want your views on:
1. Is it possible for me to get a scholarship in the US top 20 with the profile and score that I have? Also, what is the rough weightage of the GMAT Score in the scholarship process?
2. How will my chances better if I get a better GMAT score (close to 740-750) by end of July?
3. Is this score and profile good enough for the ISB this year?
I know that these questions may seem too hypothetical, but any guidance is much appreciated.
P.S. Thanks to all the experts and the GMAT CLUB for helping me in my preparations.
