While “good” is a subjective term—its meaning varies depending on an individual’s capabilities, goals, and context—your score is objectively strong in relative terms. It positions you well for admission to many top business schools, assuming the rest of your application is equally compelling.
That said, if your target includes Ivy League or ultra-competitive programs, this score may not provide a significant edge. These schools often see applicants with near-peak scores, so standing out requires every component of your profile to be as strong as possible.
If you believe that one of your section scores (for example, Quant could have been 90/90 or Verbal closer to 83) does not reflect your true ability, it may be worth considering a retake. A slightly higher score could strengthen your application and better align with your aspirations.
Ultimately, the decision should be based on your own confidence in improving and your broader application strategy. Let me know if you’d like help evaluating that.
I hope this help you!

Hi,
Took the GMAT yesterday. Ended up with a 675(Q85,DI85,V81). Not sure if the score is good. I'm a male from the UK and still have a few years before I want to apply for an MBA. My dream schools would be Wharton, Sloan, INSEAD, LBS or
Columbia Business School. Should I retake? Would I even have a chance with this score? I don't really see the point of retaking just to get a few more questions right and get a higher score, but I want to give myself the best possible chance. For some context, I have a First Class degree from a top 10 UK uni in mathematics and computer science. Thanks
