Guidance on GMAT 695 (Q90, V85, DI79) - need to retake?

Hi, I have scored a 695 (Q90, V85, DI79) in GMAT. While I have applied to some schools in R1, do you think I need to retake the test to push my DI score further if I plan to apply to some schools in R2? Please let me know. Thanks!

I would suggest you once go through the admissions criteria of all colleges you want to apply to if they have particular sectional cutoffs which max colleges don't have but still.

If your score is within range of previous intake batch which I feel it should be as it's a great score then there should not be any issue.

Hi. You do not need to retake, but if you feel you can easily gain 30 or 40 points, they may be worth a shot as some of the schools may up their scholarship consideration and that could be worth some real money.

Hi Adityasood7,

695 is a fantastic score, so if you stand pat, I don't think it will be an issue for you. That said, if you were scoring 705+ on your practice exams and want to give it another shot, I have no issues with that.
