A 675 on the Focus Edition is a 730-740 equivalent. For Ross and the T15, you are statistically 'safe.' However, as a Korean candidate with a CPA, you are competing in a pool of high-scorers.

You have two choices:
  1. Do not retake if: Your essays are currently 'average.' A 705 with a boring essay gets a ding. A 675 with a compelling 'Automotive Tech' narrative gets an invite.
  2. Retake only if: You can hit a 705+ with less than 10 hours of study. If you need a month to improve, you are better off spending that month networking with Ross alumni in the automotive space.
Why? Because a month of grinding for +20 points has diminishing returns at T15.

That same month can materially improve:
  • Essay specificity
  • School fit signaling
  • Alumni advocacy (which actually moves admits)
Ross is huge on action-based learning. If your essays don't deep-dive into things like the Tauber Institute or how your tech background fits the Michigan automotive ecosystem, a 705 won't save you.

You have the 'Stats' to get an interview. Now you need the 'Story' to get admission. Spend the next month networking with Ross grads in the auto industry instead of chasing 20 more points.
