My questions are following:
>>Is it worth applying with my current score?
>> If not, shall I reappear and try for third attempt? Will my poor performance in both attempts gives makes a negative mark on my application? In the current company, since we are start-up, workload is too high and shrinking the time to prepare for GMAT Preparation was not easy, but I agree I am not the only one with these constraints.

Work profile:
Total Work Ex- 10 years
+ Worked with companies major Indian IT companies and MNC’s such as Motorola.
+ In the companies, I have received various accolades and certificates for my contribution. In one of my company, I had modified their native software development that significantly reduced the development cycle of the company’s product. I was selected at organization level to present this tool in a symposium organized at our company's Chicago office.
+ Currently, I am in a start-up and have been working there as Engineering Manager heading development and delivery of mobile platform solution/services.
+ In the current company, I played the following roles:
+++ I was part of the core team to build up the team across global locations (our team strength grew from 30 to 300)
+++ Enforcing development and execution process across the org.
+++ Interacting with clients and sometimes represented them as their SME.
+++ Making project estimates and cost evaluation.
etc.
+ Have handled multiple teams across globe Japan, Korea, US with ~ size of 20+
+ Had multiple onsite travels in past to countries such as US,S-Korea, Tel Aviv etc.(not more than 3 months due to family commitments)
Extra-Curricular:
My family is involved in running a charitable trust in our home city, where we provide financial support to underprivileged children regarding their school fees. We have a system of shortlisting applications based on the child's academic performance and economic status of his family. We then take the ownership of providing for their school fees. I have been very actively involved in the process of setting this up on the ground as education has always been a passionate subject for me.
Reason for applying for MBA:
Somehow I feel that I have stagnated in my carrier and not able to step up in it. Have 2 options:
1: Switch job and join a good company and keep doing the more or less same stuff again, OR
2: Get a MBA degree from a prestigious institute that will be an impetus to step up to the next level. Additionally, I want to use my 2nd innings to widen my professional circle. I do not wish to remain in a technical profile throughout my career. I wish to take up diverse assignments in different roles such as consulting, business management etc.
