Hi everyone

This is my first post in GMAT club.

I only managed to get 77 % Distinction with first class ,for my grad program (BTech ) ,2.3 GPA when converted with an online tool .

I work for a tier 1 automobile supplier from the last 4years & I am consistently an A+ player.

I joined the company as an apprentice for one year .later company recruited as a permanent employee.

I was in to design and application for first two years .

Last one year I pitched in to product strategy, market analysis and acquisition.

This year I am already in to a leadership role . I am also key account holder for the most important strategic customer of ours . The peer group of mine who are handling similar profile, are with 10 + years of experience.

I also have a very good international exposure ,by working along with different teams across the globe for technical strategic topics .

I have an incredible learning from work experience as I am working for a field which is currently under technological evolution & for a market which is the biggest.

I am planning to do my MBA post 2019 .

I would like to know is it realistic dreaming top 10 B school with such low GPA ?

What should be my recommended GMAT target ?

Where else I can improve so that my chances are high for top 10 B schools?

You have a good profile. 7.7 is a decent GPA and shouldn't be a hurdle while applying to a top 10 school.
what should be my target GMAT score ?

Get in touch with others from your country that have matriculated at the programs you want to attend. And don't rule out top-25 programs- most of them are great and will get you where you need.

Hey dude,
Good to hear from you!
So first of all having dealt with thousands of Indian applications, I can tell you that 77% is not a 2.3 Nor is it that bad. It's actually pretty good!

Secondly, regarding top 10 schools, well that might be a bit tough, but only because of the GMAT. You also didn't graduate from an IIT/NIT, and your job experience, although good, may not be as competitive at the top 10 level.

Instead I would start looking into Top30 schools to begin with.

But first things first: Get the BEST possible GMAT you can!

I hope this helps!
And let me know if you have any follow up questions!

Best,
