This is quite a silly question, but sometimes worry has you asking silly questions.
I'm wondering if an interview invite to someone who was interviewed in the previous cycle but ultimately rejected is generally a good sign? What about for Booth specifically? I thought my interview last time went well, but I did not get in. This time I thought it went better but I still have that bit of worry as this is definitely the school I would like to attend.

B-schools tend to try and not let their previous decisions influence their current decision.
An interview invite means they like your profile, you got a foot in the door. Now it's time to self reflect and think about what went wrong during your last interview. Did you get your stories well told? did you manage to give examples? Did you ask questions of your own, showing your interest? Are you prepared for the harder questions (e.g. what is a failure you have been involved in at your current company and how did you react?)
all of these things matter.
In my case, I got rejected last year, after the Assessment day (a sort of team exercise, class discussion thing)
I determined my weakness was being too overbearing (I was not sure, since you don't get that direct feedback)
I reapplied, went through the interview again, through the assessment day again, and got unanimously accepted this time around.
(Ofcourse I also improved my GMAT by 50 points, and my essays, CV etc were all that much stronger cause i had more time to prepare them and was more familiar with the process)
point is, if they rejected you:
either
- they had their doubts on your profile but thought it interesting enough to interview --> weakness in your profile
or
- you didn't perform as well as you thought on the interview.
I can't help you with determining your weakness, this is where your introspection and self-knowledge comes into play
find your weakness and address it during the interview.
