Hi, all
i come here to look for advice. I quit my full time job in consulting in 2022/9 and then started to build my own business with my friends. We are working in the form of DAO (decentralized organization in web 3), providing digital solutions (such as task management tool) for other DAOs. The problem is that it is so new, we do not have any revenue now. other members work in part time.
Also, the DAO can't give me the certificate of employment (we use NFT ). But i can provide our website, product demo. and my salary is 0.
in this situation, shall I include this experience as my full-time job or shall i choose "unemployed" and put it in optional essay in MBA application essay?
Will this hurt my competitiveness in MBA application?
Shall i try to get a full time job as soon as possible?

A: No, you should put this company/role as your full-time job. You are not unemployed. You are in the early stages of building a company.

A: Not necessarily. You do, however, need to adequately describe your current role with legitimate details and credibility.

A: No, but you might be better off waiting a year to apply so you have more time to build your company and show progress. If you believe in your company, you shouldn't get a full-time job just to impress an admissions committee. If you find some success with this new business, that might bode well for your chances of admission.
