Profile Evaluation ISB PGP

Question

Hello all!

I have 15-20 days for producing a GMAT score. But I would only like to give it a shot, if a GMAT score is within reach. I had just given a mock and got a 615. I gave CAT and other Indian MBA entrance exams this year and did a decent job at them. Please provide me with brief insights if possible, it will be highly appreciated.

 CBSE CLASS XII 95.5% (All subjects), 97.2% (Best 4) Commerce with Maths 
 Graduation: Christ University, Bangalore, 3.59/4 or 8.99/10. BBA in Finance

Have 30 months of experience as of Dec 2025. I am currently a Senior Analyst in a mutual fund/ wealth advisory firm, assisting in managing HNI portfolios across equity, real estate and personal financial planning. My work involves client onboarding and improving stakeholder communication to enhance visibility and decision-making. I am also pursuing NISM licensing to strengthen regulatory understanding and transition into a structured client-facing advisory role. 
 Previously, at Gain.pro, I progressed from Private Equity Analyst to Senior Analyst. I began with company research and later led a cross-functional team of ~10 analysts. I owned OKRs, mentored and trained analysts as well as contributed to campus hiring. I also played a core role in integrating AI into workflows and led product-aligned projects such as investor mapping and building conference and exhibition datasets.

Extracurriculars 
 Extracurriculars have always been something I have enjoyed and naturally gravitated toward. In school, I served as the Head Girl and also organised my school’s first MUN. Out of curiosity, in my teen years, I interned at a local CA firm to experience a workplace environment firsthand. 
 In college, I joined the literary club and the music team. I also participated in business fests and placed in the Top 7 at Christ University and Top 30 at IIM Indore. I also did a summer internship at HDFC Bank. 
 Carrying this instinct into the workplace, I now contribute to planning team gatherings and onboarding experiences. 
 Music and volunteering have remained steady threads, I record and publish vocal covers online. I’ve also worked to uplift my community by being a tutor to underprivileged students through Step Up For India, organised Rotary blood donation drives and recently co-founded an NGO for women’s empowerment.

Given your strong performance in Indian entrance exams (CAT/CET) and your profile as a Senior Analyst in finance, a GMAT score is absolutely within reach in 15–20 days.Your initial mock score of 615 is a solid baseline. In the new GMAT Focus Edition, a 615 is roughly equivalent to a 670–680 on the classic GMAT ($80^{th}$ percentile). Since you have already mastered the "heavy lifting" of CAT Quant and DILR, your path to a 675–705+ is primarily about tactical adaptation, not learning new concepts.

A GMAT score of 645+ will significantly boost the chances. All the Best.

615 is on lower side

for ISB you need atleast 645+ to get a desired chance of getting an admit

if you get anything above 665+ its a bonus

Hi everyone! I just had my interview on 17th. Would appreciate your thoughts about my chances of getting admit. 
Indian male, 28. GMAT Focus 745 (Q90 V85 DI86). BTech from Shiv Nadar University (UG CGPA ~6.7 with a research paper presented at an International conference); 10 cgpa in 10th and 94.2% in 12th. ~6 years experience at LIC as Development Officer leading and managing a team of agents and socially active (worked with NGOs and co-founded a club at college(still active and growing) and served as secretary). Have digital marketing experience on which most of the interview was focused, they even asked me to focus more on my digital marketing skills, rest of the interview went fine as well. Only downside i would say is I hadn’t any significant conversation with an isb alumni and when they asked me if I did, I said no. Also, I don’t think my English conversation skills were flawless, just decent at best but I managed to get my point across.
I am waitlisted at IIM A and rejected at B and C. When they asked I told them about these results.
