Hi there,
Thanks for sharing your profile, and congrats by the way on the stellar GMAT score. Quick q on that note-- was the 740 before you applied in 2011 or after?
You have a lot of positives in your profile including strong, extensive and varied work experience, strong GMAT score and academics, and lots of extracurriculars (though be sure to demonstrate in your discussion of all those activities, what you are truly passionate about, in order to ensure you don't just sound scattered with your interests).
You are right in that the 8 years of work experience by the time you enter would be longer than average, and some admissions committees might want you to really make a case for why you need the MBA now, at this point in your career, and to ensure it will truly help you in your next steps. It will be of utmost importance that you convey that clearly in your application essays and interview. You also want to be sure you are making a case for why each specific school is best for you.
Your school list sounds appropriate. Not sure how many applications you completed the last time you went through this process, but keep in mind it is an intensive process to tailor each application to each school, so you don't want to sacrifice the quality of your apps for quantity. Most applicants apply to 3-6 schools, more than that can be tough to really do a great job with. Just something to keep in mind. In terms of re-applying, if you are very interested in that program I would recommend it, as it shows your dedication to that program, but you'll want to clearly highlight what has changed since your last application, in the essays and interview.
Good luck with your upcoming decisions and career!
