Agree with CobraKai and old here. Both are peer schools with strong regional pull, so the fact that you want to live in LA after school makes this an easy one. When you add money on top of that? Icing on the cake.

What do you guys think about the better finance education I might get at NYU since it is a better finance school? Is it pretty much negligible?

:) Anderson is definitely the best choice for you in this situation. There are so many great schools in the 10-16 tier, it all just depends on which region you'd like to end up in after b-school. Midwest? Ross. Mid-Atlantic/NYC? Duke/Darden/Stern/Yale (pick based on culture/fit). West Coast? Anderson.
