I vote for Tuck.

The reason why INSEAD is not so good choice is just as what mgg234 said.

As Kellogg and Tuck are peers with each other, I just simply like Tuck since I was born in a little town.

I think it really depends on which school you can fit in and which school you have special feeling when they are almost same.

Does a 60,000USD scholarship from duke make any difference

As I mentioned above, I think in this case, Fuqua would be your best bet. Having been out of school for a bit, working with other elite b-school graduates, and seeing the career progression of everyone, I do not think the difference in school will make up for $60K of scholarship. I would take the $60K in a heartbeat and never look back.

Depends what you want to do, and how much you want to do it. Duke gives you a decent chance at Southern office MBB and great chance as Deloitte. Kellogg gets you a good chance at MBB everywhere (well, NY/SF are still very tough), and excellent chance at Deloitte. Many people at Duke get into consulting, but they lag the M7 a bit at the elite firms. That said, with a $60k scholarship, you'll also be better than the average applicant at Duke.

I spoke to an experienced career coach and he said Kellogg has an edge in consulting recruitment, PE recruitment in China, and global brand generally. I think
i will still choose Kellogg. An M7 holds even more weight in China / Asia, which generally is even more of an educational brandname whore haha

Consider a life long . i.e. 20 years out of biz school value of $60k ( $3k, i will make it easy for you. Lol). assume no interest. and and life long brandname value. Especially if Asia is brand sensitive.

Completely agree with the points for Kellogg over Fuqua. If you plan to be in finance or consulting in the long term, the 60k difference is a lot, but I believe it will not be material in the long run. I think Fuqua is a great school and it is possible to get the same job coming out, but as you already mentioned the Kellogg name is stronger and your odds of getting MBB out of MBA will be better. Don't know much about INSEAD though.
