Bump - anybody has any ideas or links where this may have been discussed before?

Hi,
Try looking in here https://gmatclub.com/forum/admitted-whic ... hoose-192/

My first choice would be Wharton and second Booth. Booth would only be first choice if it came along with some scholarship. If I were to play the "bargain a scholarship" game I would do it with Kellogg but don't do it unless you are ready to accept such an offer if it becomes a reality (I wouldn't). With a scholarship offer from Kellogg you can then go to Booth and Wharton and see if they are willing to get into "a scholarship race" for you.

My personal opinion is that you should be greatful for those offers and not try to get money out of them. If money is a concern maybe you should have applied to other business schools... Sorry for sounding a bit harsh there but many people in this forum would do anything to be in the position you are in right now.

Cheers and good luck,

another vote for wharton. congrats all great schools though. for your career goals wharton seems like the obvious choice to me. agreed with poster above that you should've known the costs of bschool before applying. no doubt it's a lot but if you plan to stay in finance the cost won't be meaningful in the long-term

congratulations !
Take wharton if everything is being equal.
Try to negotiate some $.
Look for private loans without a US cosignor, or borrow from friends (the more you have , the lower must be the amount you ask).

If you dont succeed - defer for 1 year and find money.
