Hi guys,
I have been accept at LBS without scholarship and Michigan Ross with a $60k scholarship. Now I am having a hard time deciding.
I don't have a strong post-MBA choice. I have been working with consulting for M&A with focus on the energy industry, so I am beetween consulting and financial services.
What I know is that I want to come back to Brazil after the MBA. In my opinion, LBS brand is stronger in Latin America, but the scholarship makes all the difference. With the current exchange rate, a standard post-MBA job (MBB for example) in Brazil is paying half of the US/UK salary.
Can you guys help me?

Finances are a huge concern. But lets assume you somehow manage the funding. I would go to LBS. Its the Harvard of Europe. Your MBA is going to stay with you forever. If you go through the profiles of class of 2017 its full of exceptional candidates. You don't get such an impressive, diverse network anywhere else. Not in any U.S. school and not even in INSEAD.

As you are not staying in the US i would also very much agree that the LBS brand is stronger outside the US (i.e. in Brazil). You would be better served than with Ross.
LBS is a top2 school outside the US (only behind INSEAD). This school will, thus, help your future aspirations through your entire life time. In 5 to 10 years from now the scholarship is well paid back.
Good luck with your choice.
